Ruth Briggs King Announces Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts Underway in Throughout Delaware : Locations across State Accepting Donations Now
Hurricane Helene slammed into Florida’s Gulf Coast as a Category 4 storm with 140 miles an hour winds. It caused nine-foot storm surges in parts of Florida, lashed the region with heavy rain, cut power for millions, and then headed to Georgia and the Carolinas. With heavy flooding rains and damaging wind.
We’ve all seen the horrible videos & photos coming out of the affected area about the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.
Now, Delaware, it’s time for us to help.
Ruth Briggs King has partnered with small businesses in each county of Delaware this week to assist with the relief efforts. A special thank you goes out to Jeff Chorman Spraying in Sussex County and Mark Pugh Automotive in Kent County.
